PRESERVING AN IRREPLACEABLE BREED

Old Three Wagyu is a Texas Fullblood Wagyu cattle operation rooted at Pleasant View Farm near Brenham in historic Washington County, Texas. For more than a decade, we have been dedicated to raising 100% Fullblood Black Wagyu cattle and preserving the exceptional genetics, marbling potential and characteristics that make the Wagyu breed unlike any other.

Our program combines intentional breeding, carefully selected Wagyu genetics and thoughtful cattle management to produce both Fullblood Wagyu seedstock and premium Wagyu beef. From breeding decisions to the care of our herd, we take a long-term approach designed to continually improve our cattle while respecting the remarkable heritage of the breed.

For us, raising Wagyu is about more than producing exceptional cattle. It is an extension of a philosophy that has guided our family and businesses for decades: Investing in the Irreplaceable™.

The experience stayed with him.

Decades later, Kerr and his family invested in more than 500 acres of rolling Texas countryside near Brenham. The property would become Pleasant View Farm and eventually the home of Old Three Wagyu.

Inspired by his longstanding philosophy of Investing in the Irreplaceable™ and memories of the extraordinary beef he had experienced in Japan, Kerr began acquiring Wagyu cattle and assembling genetics for what would become the Old Three herd.

Over time, the program evolved with an increasing emphasis on 100% Fullblood Black Wagyu, careful genetic selection and cattle capable of producing the exceptional carcass quality for which Wagyu is known.

Today, Old Three Wagyu operates in both Fullblood Wagyu seedstock and premium beef, continuing to build upon the same fascination with the breed that began halfway around the world decades ago.

The name Old Three Wagyu pays tribute to the Old Three Hundred, the original settlers who received land grants in Stephen F. Austin’s first Texas colony. Located at Pleasant View Farm near Brenham in historic Washington County, Texas, our name honors the heritage of the land we call home and reflects our commitment to preserving something exceptional for generations to come.

Our brand carries an even deeper meaning.

The Old Three logo features a distinctive “O” with three lines, each representing an important part of our identity:

• The Old Three Hundred: Honoring the pioneering heritage of Texas and our connection to the land.

• Kerr’s Three Children: Representing family, legacy and the generations for whom we are building.

THE STORY BEHIND THE VISION

Long before Old Three Wagyu was established, founder Kerr Taylor developed a philosophy that would shape the businesses, investments and causes his family pursued.

During a trip to Florence, Italy, after college, Kerr was captivated by the extraordinary buildings surrounding the city’s historic plazas. While enjoying coffee at a café, he struck up a conversation with an elderly gentleman and asked who owned the remarkable properties around them.

The answer made a lasting impression.

Many belonged to founding families and had been passed from one generation to another. They weren’t simply properties to be bought and sold. They were treasured assets worth preserving.

Kerr returned home with an idea that would ultimately become a guiding philosophy:

That principle became a cornerstone of Rowland Taylor and has guided investments and endeavors spanning real estate, agriculture and philanthropy.

At Old Three Wagyu, that philosophy has a tangible expression.

We see it in the Texas land we steward. We see it in the Fullblood Wagyu genetics we work to preserve and improve. And we see it in the responsibility to build an operation worthy of being passed to another generation.
